Pantisocracy returns for Season 5 Summer 2020

The award winning radio and podcast show, Pantisocracy hosted by Panti Bliss, goes into production for its fifth season this month with 8 new shows planned for 2020, with seven broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1 across the Summer and a special commissioned for Christmas.

The ‘cabaret of conversations’ brings together an eclectic gathering of talented voices sharing stories, and performances, of, and about, contemporary Ireland. Pantisocracy won best radio show in the Celtic Media Festival 2018 for its combination of entertainment and cutting edge discourses that draw on themes of belonging, diversity, ethnicity, gender and sexuality in modern Ireland.

The show is a blend of conversation and music/speech performances and artists who have taken part in it include Lisa Hannigan, Hozier, Jack O’Rourke, Loah, Gavin Friday, Damien Dempsey, Camille O’Sullivan, Talos, Lisa Lambe, Honor Heffernan, Eleanor McEvoy, Saint Sister, Hazel O’Connor, SHIPS, Declan O’Rourke, Tolu Makay and Duke Special.
