Our Story

Who are we?

We’re storytellers and we help others tell their story.

We’ve been telling digital tales for twenty years. We love to bring  traditional storytelling skills and digital innovation together. We have been podcasters since 2006 and run Podcasting Ireland and The Family of Things.

We match the medium to the story and always think transmedia; using the full digital tool kit to unpack a story.

We worked with Robert Sheehan on Wilde Stories with Panti Bliss on Pantisocracy and with Barry and Sam McGovern on the audiobook of James Joyce’s  novel A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man.

We helped UNDP in Iraq tell their story We produced Vocal Chords with Iarla Ó Lionáird, the award winning series that picked up Gold for the second time in the New York Radio Festival 2017 and we made a new series of Pantisocracy with Panti Bliss.

Pantisocracy S3 E8 ‘Borders’ – Audience and Guests

We made a science series A Trip Around the SUN with astrophysicist Peter Gallagher, we picked up best radio magazine at the Celtic Media Festival for Pantisocracy and a THIRD Gold at the New York Radio Festival 2018 for Vocal Chords.

We travelled to Iceland to  work on a ground-breaking arts and culture series Mother’s Blood, Sister Songs,  exploring how the genetics of Iceland reveals its Irish motherhood. The series, presented by Irish composer Linda Buckley  was accompanied by a podcast series and a trans media website.

Across 2019 we produced an independent social affairs podcast project This is Where We Live focussed on the housing crisis and homelessness in Ireland, talking to those with insight into its causes and solutions. The Dublin Housing Observatory and Happy Scribe came on board as sponsors.

At the New York Radio Festival we picked up another radio award, a Bronze for best podcast, for our episode of The Family of Things with psychologist Tony Bates.
